Best Western Plus Stevens County Inn

The hotel is very nice. The staff that checked us in was nice but quiet when speaking. The hotel didn't have any gross smells, it smelt clean. The rooms were very nice and clean. Wish the bathroom had a dimmer switch or a switch for like night light type lights. Going to the bathroom in the middle of the night hurt your eyes. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi. The pool feels like a salt water pool which was very nice. The jacuzzi felt really really nice but the water was hot enough that I was in it for 10-15mins and when I got out my skin was red like a tomato. The breakfast was really good. Loved that they had a make your own omelette station where their staff makes it for you which was cool. The day we were checking out we had the cart loaded up with our stuff getting ready to walk out the door and the front desk called and said "you know check out is at 11am right?" We felt a little annoyed with that. Got down to the desk and the guy didn't seem friendly or say much. Just checked my out and that was it.

Loved this hotel! The rooms were big! So nice for a big family! We reserved 2 rooms - both had two queens, a couch that folded out into a bed & a cushy chair too! The bathroom was clean & there was a closet with an ironing board & iron too. Everything was so new & clean! Breakfast was great with lots of options. My only two complaints are there was no bacon as listed on their menu in the lobby & the lady who was managing breakfast & making omelets for people did not understand a lick of English so when we were asking if there was a sink we could wash out our baby’s bottle she didn’t know what we were saying at all. Fortunately there was a guest there who translated & then she helped us. After that she went back to watching videos on her phone. Very unprofessional. But other than that, I really liked our stay there. I worry about the cleanliness of hotels & am a clean-freak.

Great, friendly staff. The room was clean and large, but very cozy too. Swimming pool, hot tub, ice machine, water bottle fill up. Great protein options for breakfast. Will stay again in the future!

Quite possibly the nicest hotel I have stayed in. Very clean, good breakfast and professional and friendly staff. Really recommend!

They make fresh omelets with real eggs (none of that pre-made eggs in a milk carton. Service was on-point. Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy but great for what it is.

This is a wonderful hotel in a rural area of Kansas near the Oklahoma border. Quiet and relaxing, it has all the amenities that you'd expect of a 3-star hotel (pool, fitness center, laundry facilities, etc.) The property is well-kept and the room and public areas were clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was beyond expectation including, believe it or not, a freshly made omelette bar! The room was larger than average with plenty of counter space in the bathroom. I dinged it one star because the hard to get places (baseboard, behind furniture) could use some vacuuming. I dinged service one star because the swimming pool was out of order and that is one reason I chose this particular hotel.

Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at a hotel and I travel for a living so that says a lot! Front desk staff: Kimberly did an amazing job on her first night by herself! Even with the technical difficulties with the computer, she kept her cool and showed exemplary customer service skills. She’s a great asset! Rosey and Dawson were also awesome. We booked three rooms and one of the guests in the rooms left some items behind. They went the extra mile and called and texted me with info of the items AND offered to ship! Definitely have a great team of employees at this location. Pool being indoor was great too. My team really enjoyed the facilities. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable too. LOVE that the mini fridge had a freezer for my cooler ice packs! Only downside to this stay was that the elevator was out of order but we totally understand that these things happen so it was no big deal. I would stay at this location again in a heartbeat. Thank you all for making our weekend comfortable.

Great place to stop and the breakfast was great! I spend most every week outta town so I can tell ya , this oasis in western ks is a cut above the rest!
